DOMAINE D’EXPERTISE :
Mes recherches portent sur les processus comportementaux et écologiques évolutifs qui sous-tendent les interactions hôte–parasite, en particulier chez les bivalves d’importance écologique et économique. Je m’intéresse tout particulièrement aux conséquences moléculaires de l’infection, notamment à la régulation épigénétique et aux réponses immunitaires, avec un accent actuel sur les voies cellulaires et métaboliques impliquées dans la primovaccination immunitaire.
J’ai travaillé jusqu’à présent avec des parasites trématodes et la coque (Cerastoderma edule) comme système modèle hôte–parasite. Mes travaux à venir élargiront ce champ d’étude aux huîtres et aux agents pathogènes viraux, en particulier l’herpèsvirus de l’huître (OsHV-1).
