DOMAINE D’EXPERTISE-RECHERCHE :
Je souhaite développer un projet de recherche intégratif sur l’effet de l’environnement (biotique et abiotique) sur l’évolution des génomes et la plasticité phénotypique. Mes approches sont transversales, situées à l’interface entre bioinformatique, écologie et évolution.

Depuis mon arrivée au laboratoire, ma recherche s’est focalisée sur différents aspects de la plasticité phénotypique. Concernant les interactions hôtes/parasites, j’utilise la génomique comparative « populationnelle » (pool-sequencing) pour mieux comprendre l’origine d’un nouveau chronotype nocturne de Schistosoma mansoni, inédit dans cette espèce, ainsi que les bases moléculaires de la modification comportementale ayant entrainé un changement d’hôte. Je m’intéresse également aux variations phénotypiques chez les hybrides et aux mécanismes moléculaires sous-jacents.

Je participe par ailleurs à l’étude de la dynamique de l’holobionte corallien (formé de l’hôte cnidaire, des algues symbiotiques et du microbiote) en réponse à un stress thermique, ainsi que celle de l’huître et de son microbiote associé au cours de la pathogenèse. La réponse de ces organismes est étudiée à la fois au niveau du transcriptome du macroorganisme hôte et de la dynamique des communautés microbiennes associées, et ceci à différentes échelles.
